![]() J. F. "Bo" Boswell Enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1962. Served in Viet Nam with the First
Marine Division, 1964-1965. Applied for OCS under the Meritorious NCO
Program and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant on 15 Dec 1966. From 1970 until retirement in 1987 as the 2d Marine Air Wing’s Logistics Operations Officer, held various assignments to include XO of VMA-AW-224; XO of MABS-14; XO of VMA-AW-533; XO of HQRON, Cherry Point, NC and Staff Secretary to the Commanding General, Marine Corps Air Bases Eastern Area. Carrier Qualified aboard the Kitty Hawk in 1975. A-6 designations included NATOPS Instructor, Post Maintenance Check Flight Crewmember, Low Altitude Tactics Training Instructor, and Mission Commander. After retirement, worked for National Technologies Associates (NTA) supporting the A-6 APML at NAVAIR, 1988-1997. As NTA’s A-6 Program Manager, supported the Boeing composite wing retrofit program until the A-6 program was cancelled in 1996; then worked on the Intruder Reef project and the A-6 War Reserve Storage program at Davis-Mothan AFB, Tucson, AZ. Currently employed as a Senior Logistics Analyst with Military Professional Resources, Inc. (MPRI) in Alexandria, VA supporting the Army Materiel Command in logistics transformation and modernization initiatives. Bo currently resides at in Potomac Falls, VA |
